– I walked part of the Great Wall of China in 2017 to raise money for research into Amyloidosis that my husband and his family suffer from. I had the flip flops tattooed on my left forearm so that I could remember to relax, breathe, and ‘go at my own pace’ and not put too much pressure on myself on the walk, enjoy the experience and the stunning views. Good advice for life, I think.
